NLN is trying a test site for video podcasts at http://NLNtv.podomatic.com
As I write this I have added two trailers and one complete program. The titles added were in Arabic, Hungarian (although falsely noted as Romanian in the trailer itself) and the complete title is in Polish from our Polish office, created by our Polish arm.
Feedback is eagerly awaited. Let us know if you can use it yourself and how we can make changes to help you.

Digg vs. Slashdot (or, traffic vs. influence)
Analysis of the power of digg and slashdot
This will mean nothing to most people who read the NLN blog, but it is important to note that this is a question that pits equal access against filtering by experts, and this does have an impact upon NLN and how it best digitally distributes its programming in the future.
We will need to see what wins out over the longer term, but if my theory is correct about the development of the Internet then if Slashdot does not find a way to better democratize and make it easier for users to add info, then they will be less significant within 12 months and Digg will continue to grow.
As for NLN, this means that we will also be developing a more open concept as all shifts towards the on demand, digital world. Feedback is, as always, welcome. You can Skype me at briankelley
